Stress Reduction Tip of the Week
Clean out your closets for the holidays and for yourself. Begin the New Year clean, fresh and simple. Collect all the things you no longer use, or need; then donate or sell them. Do the same with your schedule. Prioritize and eliminate what is no longer necessary. Create more physical and emotional space in your life. The two are interrelated. When you clean out your closets, you clean out your mind. It will be easier to focus on what is important.

Food of the Week - Cherries
Life is just a bowl of cherries. Control your holiday sweet tooth with dark sweet cherries abundantly available now through January thanks to our South American neighbor, Chile. Cherries are high in fiber, contain vitamin C and potassium. They contain powerful anti-oxidants and are rich in phyto-nutrients which have been shown to be more powerful than vitamins C and E in protecting heart, head and preventing cancer. Good news: A cup of sweet cherries has only 90 calories. When you serve cut-up honey dew, cantaloupe, orange and grapefruit segments, pineapple and kiwi, add cherries to create a visually beautiful and healthy dessert. Everyone will say, “Ahh!” when they see your fruit plate. Go ahead take the pits out and serve over low fat ice-cream—live a little!
